After two days of high winds, rain and occasionally hail, all side effects from Hurricane Ophelia, everything was covered with wet leaves and needles. The first thing I thought of when I looked outside was how it reminded me of a quilt and suddenly the cold, wet leaves looked comforting. I was surprised at how it made me smile.
